Inside the country pub in 'tranquil' Lancashire village with 'beautiful setting'

Have you been looking for a new pub to try out in Lancashire? This one near Pendle Hill with "stunning views" could be the ideal spot for your next pub grub.

The Barley Mow in Burnley "sits at the foot of Pendle Hill," an area that's "home to endless countryside and picturesque walks," according to the pub's website.

The Pendle Hill area is known for its scenic countryside views as well as the location of the witch trials back in 1612.

If you'd like to extend your stay in the area, the pub has "six premium en-suite guest bedrooms" and serves breakfast, ideal for "a rustic rural getaway."

The food menu features some classics such as fish and chips, steak and ale pot pie, a beef burger, Sunday roasts and more.

It also boasts the likes of steaks, seabass, sticky toffee pudding and more.

One customer shared on Google Reviews: "Amazing little pub, surrounded by stunning views. The staff were absolutely lovely and the service was amazing!

"Roast dinner to die for! The cauliflower cheese is phenomenal, by far the best I've ever tasted!"
