Jeremy Clarkson shares alarming Clarkson's Farm update after 'filming stopped' - Yorkshire Live

Doncaster-born Jeremy Clarkson left his followers bewildered on Sunday after disclosing that production had ceased temporarily at his agricultural venture. The 65 year old broadcaster boasts a devoted following eager to witness his farming exploits - the best moments of which are documented on film.

The petrolhead-turned-farmer maintains an Amazon Prime series titled Clarkson's Farm, with its fourth instalment launching earlier this summer. Production crews remain stationed at his property to capture footage for the forthcoming fifth series - however, filmmakers suspended operations over the weekend.

Via X, previously Twitter, Jeremy disclosed that shooting had been temporarily halted - before astounding supporters by detailing his weekend agricultural duties. It emerged that facilitating pig breeding topped his priority list, reports the Mirror.

The television personality posted online: "Filming at Diddly Squat has stopped for a little while, but the farming goes on. Today, I have rented out a pig for sexual purposes."

Supporters were taken aback by the revelation, with numerous individuals responding to Jeremy's announcement with astonishment and curiosity. One replied, stating: "Glad you stopped the filming at this stage, then."

Another admirer commented: "How does one move from cars to pig pimpery? It doesn't seem a natural transition." Whilst another remarked: "Thank you, Jeremy. That will be all. We're trying to enjoy our Sunday bacon and eggs here."

Pig breeding represents a lucrative enterprise within the farming sector, with boar owners capable of hiring out their animals to fellow agriculturalists for potentially hundreds of pounds to mate with sows. Farmers can levy charges per sow when their boar is leased, whilst the British pork sector is reportedly valued at more than £14 billion.

This follows Jeremy and Kaleb Cooper discussing a gruesome finding at Diddly Squat Farm after they discovered half an ear. During a segment of 'Who Said That' featured on Amazon Prime's YouTube channel, Jeremy, Kaleb, and Jeremy's partner Lisa Hogan were trying to work out who had spoken the words: "The only thing they won't eat is teeth".

They then remembered a disturbing incident where a piglet had been consumed by its mother. After they established that Lisa had uttered the remark, Jeremy interrupted, clarifying it related to "the very first piglet we had".

Lisa replied: "Half an ear she left as well." Jeremy added: "If she hadn't left half an ear we wouldn't have known what had happened, we just would have thought it escaped. When you find half an ear, you know."

This represents yet another difficult animal-related predicament Jeremy has faced since transitioning to full-time farming in 2019. Earlier this month, the former Top Gear host, 65, revealed he was compelled to put down the first calf born at Diddly Squat following a tuberculosis outbreak.

Sharing a poignant image of a cow on Instagram, Jeremy penned: "This was the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat. And this morning she was destroyed, while pregnant with twins, because she has TB. So sad."

The devastating news is the latest in a series of challenges faced by Jeremy's farming venture, as he endeavours to turn his 1,000 acre farm into a profitable business, a journey documented in Amazon Prime's Clarkson Farm series.

Jeremy had previously disclosed that his farm was struck by a TB outbreak during the summer, cautioning followers that culling might be necessary to halt further spread.
