NUP-KIRUHURA CHAOS! District NRM boss blast Bobi for 'ROGUE RALLY ROUTES' - ONLINE

Kiruhura was on fire recently -- politically -- after NRM bosses came out swinging against what they call "total disorder and indiscipline" from Bobi Wine and his NUP supporters.

NRM Kiruhura district chairperson Nkesiga Moses Kamiisi has rubbished viral social-media claims that security blocked Bobi Wine from holding his Rushere rally on November 5, 2025. Kamiisi insists there was NO blockade, no political sabotage, and no government conspiracy -- just Bobi Wine's camp allegedly "misbehaving" and breaking the rules of their officially approved rally route.

According to Kamiisi, the drama erupted when Bobi's supporters allegedly abandoned the Electoral Commission-cleared routes and instead stormed through unauthorized paths, causing confusion and commotion in the normally calm cattle corridor district. He accuses NUP of "stage-managing chaos" to paint victimhood and spark online sympathy.

Witnesses claim the red-bereted supporters went wild along the way, with reports of scuffles, confrontations, and assaults on locals who tried to clear the way. Several NUP trouble causers have since been arrested and arraigned in various courts.

Meanwhile, Kiruhura RDC Bakunda George has thrown his full weight behind the NRM, telling residents that Uganda cannot afford political experiments at such a critical time. He said the country needs stability, not drama, and praised President Museveni for steering Uganda through tough times.

Bakunda urged all voters to stay calm, vote wisely, and defend the gains the ruling party says it has delivered -- especially as the clock ticks toward the January 15, 2026 general elections.
