New generation is very interesting as they want to treat very hot subjects: Michal Kwieciñski

Kolkata, Nov 8 (UNI) Veteran Polish filmmaker and producer Michal Kwieciñski, known for producing Roman Polañski's recent films, on Saturday expressed admiration for the younger generation of Polish filmmakers who, he said are unfraid to explore "very hot subjects."

Speaking at a session during the 31st Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF), Kwieciñski observed that Polish cinema is undergoing a generational shift marked by fresh perspectives and modern storytelling.
