Fans Convinced Taylor Swift Leaked Travis Kelce's Next NFL Team

Once Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce announced he was returning for his 13th NFL season in 2025, many have wondered if has more than just one more season left in him.

Kelce himself even hinted that he feels he has multiple years left in his career.

"Where will I be in three years? Hopefully still playing football," Kelce told reporters the day before Super Bowl LIX. "I love doing this. I love coming into work every day. I feel like I still got a lot of good football left in me. We'll see what happens."

Though Kelce also stated he plans on still being a Chief three years from now, some fans on social media seem to believe he could be playing for a new team after his contract with the Chiefs expires after this season -- and it's all because of Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift.

The 14-time Grammy winner revealed her new album "The Life of Showgirl" on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast on Wednesday night, and the color scheme of the album's artwork has fans thinking the "Blank Space" singer dropped an easter egg about what team the 10-time Pro Bowler could be playing for next season.

"My football fan/swiftie conspiracy theory is that Travis Kelce is getting traded to the Dolphins based on the color scheme of @taylorswift13 new album #Lifeofashowgirl #ts12 #NFL @tswifterastour," one fan replied.

"New album is orange and aqua???? Travis Kelce, you are a Miami Dolphin," another fan declared.

"The life of a showgirl colors are an easter egg for Travis Kelce going to the Miami Dolphins," a third fan wrote.

"Travis Kelce [traded to the] Miami Dolphins. HERE WE GOOOOOOO," exclaimed one user.

Given Kelce's popularity, it's tough to see the Chiefs letting him play anywhere else other than Kansas City.

But if the Chiefs do let Kelce walk in free agency next offseason, he likely would be a welcomed addition to the Dolphins' roster. Miami traded Pro Bowl TE Jonnu Smith to the Pittsburgh Steelers last month, and the team then acquired former Pro Bowler Darren Waller from the New York Giants to replace him.

Waller, however, hasn't played since January 7, 2024, after sitting out last season amid his temporary retirement.

Conversely, the Chiefs seem to be well-positioned for Kelce's potential departure with both Noah Gray and former five-star Clemson TE Jake Briningstool under contract through 2027.
