A hotel located next door to Blaine's National Sports Center has been put up for sale with a listing price of $9 million, according to a Marcus & Millichap listing.

The site, the Best Western Plus at the National Sports Center, is located at 10580 Baltimore St. NE in Blaine. Joseph Ferguson, a senior associate at Marcus & Millichap, said the property's revenue in 2023 was $2.8 million with 98 rooms, bringing the Revenue-per-available-room around $28,600.

Ferguson said the property is likely to benefit from new investments coming to Blaine through the form of the $750 million entertainment hub that was slated to start construction this fall. Included in the hub would be a new professional baseball stadium.

Ferguson said the anticipated increase in traffic to the city has also brought on road work, which he thinks could increase the occupancy of the hotel in the short term because of construction workers staying in the hotel.

The property was originally built in 2003 as a Comfort Inn, Ferguson said.

Property tax records show that the property was previously built in 2014 by S&S Enterprises LLC for $4.1 million. The estimated market value for the property from the county sits at $6.1 million, up from the previous year's $5.9 million.
