Wine and cocktail bar planned in parade of shop units due to popular demand

A WINE and cocktail bar is planned for a vacant unit along a parade of shops.

Full planning permission is sought from Warrington Borough Council for a change of use of Well Inked tattoo and piercing studio.

Applicant Bar 76 Ltd wishes for the premises, at number Bruche Heath Gardens in Paddington, to become a bar and pub.

The applicant already owns the neighbouring unit, which it says does not have enough seating due to demand.

Planning documents state: "Our planning application intention is to change the unused unit and use it the same way that we use the property to side, number nine.

"Our intention is the split the operation of our other business into two, using number eight as a wine and cocktail bar.

"We feel that the noise and transport impact will be minimal as we are just trying to have more seating for customers over the two properties, as there is not enough seating currently.

"All of the individuals whom we have spoken to have given us feedback showing no concerns about another bar or pub unit on the parade of shops.

"We feel this is because we have proven that the bar next door has been operated in a manner to cause no concerns at all."
