Nov. 21 - The Islamic Republic of Iran said it was willing to resume negotiations with the United States over its nuclear program as long as its red lines were respected, according to a report by CNN.

Talks about Iran's nuclear program stalled after Israel and the U.S. attacked several nuclear sites in the country following Iran's refusal to dismantle the program.

U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that Iran had called to try to reach an agreement with the U.S. and that a deal would 'probably' happen.

Scientists from Iran who were allegedly involved in nuclear work travelled to Russia to meet with military experts, according to a report by the Financial Times.

The meetings included officials from a sanctioned Russian company called Laser Systems, which produces lasers for civilian and military use.

Two secret trips to Russia were made last year by the scientists and are "strong evidence that Russia was assisting Iran in its nuclear weapons-related research," according to the Carnegie Endowment's nuclear policy unit.

And an attempt by Iranian officials to crack down on spies working for hostile states took an unusual turn, according to a report by the Telegraph newspaper.

Officials inside Iran's powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and intelligence services have reported fears that spies for Israel are falsely reporting loyal Iranians within the regime to weaken Iran's defense.

A source speaking to the newspaper said they believed officials with grudges were also "building cases against one another" to take revenge.
