The Kansas City Chiefs receiving corps has been plagued by injuries, and in Week 14 faces another setback.
Mecole Hardman, who made a name for himself in Super Bowl LVIII and has stood out as a return specialist, was added to the injury report this week.
Will Hardman be available for Kansas City's showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football this evening?
Hardman was not on the Chiefs' initial injury reports in Week 14 but things took a turn on Friday when his knee kept him from practicing.
On Saturday Hardman's status was downgraded and he was placed on Kansas City's injured reserve list. He will miss at least the next four games as he recovers from his injury.
It is unknown if he will return to the field this season.
With Hardman expected to miss time, the Chiefs will rely on DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Justin Watson to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes.
Kansas City also activated Nikko Remigio from its practice squad on Saturday after Hardman was placed on injured reserve.
