Man shot in head among multiple victims of separate shootings

A man shot in the head died Saturday, and three others were injured in separate shootings in Baltimore City, police said.City police said officers patrolling in the area of the 5900 block of Belair Road around 6:33 p.m. heard discharging and found a man shot in the 4200 block of Powell Avenue. The 46-year-old man was shot in the head and died at the scene.City police said officers were called just before 6 p.m. to the 3700 block of Edmondson Avenue, where a 34-year-old man was shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.City police said officers were called around 4:25 p.m. to a hospital, where a 35-year-old man sought treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to his groin. He was in stable condition. Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the man was shot in the 400 block of North Montford Avenue.City police said officers were called around 3:33 p.m. to Good Samaritan Hospital, where a 35-year-old man sought treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to his left leg. The victim is in stable condition but was being uncooperative with officers, so police don't yet know where he was shot.
