Brown Eyed Soul returns: Band makes comeback with new album 'Soul Tricycle', announces upcoming concert | - The Times of India

Brown Eyed Soul Brown Eyed Soul has officially returned to the music scene after six years, releasing their highly anticipated fifth full-length album 'Soul Tricycle' on September 23 at 6 p.m. The vocal group, known for their rich harmonies and soulful ballads, last released a half album 'It' Soul Right' in 2019, making this comeback a long-awaited one for fans.A blend of eras in one record The new album features 14 tracks, including eight fresh songs and six previously released singles. The title track 'Our Moment' stands out as a 90s-inspired contemporary R&B piece that reflects on memories of times that cannot return, highlighting the group's signature harmonies alongside Naul's powerful ad-libs. Actor Ahn Jae-hong and rising actress Kim Joo-won star in the accompanying music video, adding cinematic depth to the release. Other tracks draw inspiration from multiple eras of soul music: 'Love Scat' channels the energy of 1960s southern soul, while 'Maybe You Are Like This' embraces the grooves of 1970s rhythm. Through these, the album traces the flow of Black music history ranging from the 60s southern soul to 90s contemporary R&B. The mastering was completed in Japan to ensure high-quality sound.Exhibition celebrating their journey To mark the release, the group will host an exhibition on September 26 at Sounds Hannam in Seoul. The showcase will feature past album artifacts, original artworks, and historical materials from their two-decade-long career since debuting in 2003.End of year concert plans Fans can also look forward to a grand concert at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on December 24, 25, and 27. This holiday season performance will be one of the biggest shows by the group in recent years, further celebrating their return. According to MK Sports, these activities signal Brown Eyed Soul's determination to reconnect with listeners while honoring their musical heritage.
