We should note one teeeeeeny tiny thing: Stevens got her month wrong there. Last Tuesday was July 29th. June 29th was a Sunday. Things happen, she's going through a lot, just noting it for the facts of the matter.

With that said, this pretty much guarantees that we won't see Stevens suit up for head coach Cara Consuegra and the Golden Eagles in 2025-26. From some quick Googling around, it seems like six months is the timeline until you or me just walking around would be back to normal. Six months from now is the beginning of February, and if that's the projected start time for Stevens to start full fledged rehab to get back in the lineup for Marquette, then there's no reason to hurry things along.
