Serie A side Roma are facing the possibility of losing Lorenzo Pellegrini this summer but the player is keen to stay and fight for his place.

Corriere dello Sport, via Giallorossi.net, have reported that West Ham and Besiktas came forward for the midfielder. But the midfielder has rejected them, as he hopes to make an impact for Roma under Gian Piero Gasperini.

He wants to wait till January to see if he can make a mark and if he doesn't, he will consider an exit in the winter transfer window.

Roma believe that his sale will generate capital gains as his salary will also be removed from the books. This will help them move in the market.

Gasperini is also yet to decide how to use the Italian in his system but he will make a decision soon. But so far, West Ham and Besiktas will have to look elsewhere to bolster their midfield.
