The consequences of their actions are hitting Andrew and Fergie hard. And though Andrew, in particular, has barely faced real consequences -- the loss of a title and a mansion could hardly be called that considering what's been alleged -- there's no doubt that his life and that of Fergie will change due to the title loss and the lack of support from the royal family.
But what does this mean for Fergie? RadarOnline.com is reporting that Ferguson is on a "desperate hunt for a wealthy suitor" to help her maintain the lifestyle she's used to. Prince Andrew, after all, will have to move to a smaller home in Sandringham, but his expenses are still said to be paid by King Charles. Fergie is another matter. And that, reportedly, has her "panicking."

Sources close to the former Duchess tell the outlet that she has "no intention" of changing her habits and will instead look to find "a new benefactor." A friend of Fergie even said, "Sarah's always been a survivor, but this time she's genuinely scared. The idea of slipping into obscurity - or worse, running out of money - is haunting her. She's telling people she needs to find a man with real wealth who can help her keep living the way she's used to."
The Duchess is reportedly looking to reframe her decisions. "She's desperately framing it as a fresh start, but in truth it's more of a bailout," one source said. "She's not about to part with her designer clothes, luxury trips, or spa days. The only way she can sustain that lifestyle now is by finding someone rich enough to fund it. She's on the hunt for a true sugar daddy now, and is appealing to the few people in high society who will still speak to her to make introductions."
"She's telling people it's like being freed from the royal leash, but she knows the financial reality has hit hard. What she wants now is someone who can give her security and keep her in the comfort she's always enjoyed."
This all comes after reports that her new children's book, Flora And Fern: Kindness Along The Way, has now been withdrawn from sale, according to the BBC. The book was originally due to be published on October 9. One source even told the outlet that "It's not the right time to release a book by Sarah Ferguson."
Recent reports indicated that Fergie is rumored to be moving into her daughter's residence in Portugal, as she has nowhere else to go. The Daily Mail reported that Fergie will move into Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank's mansion in Portugal, in what is called the "Hamptons of Europe." The home is reportedly worth £3.6million ($4.8 million). The pair has been said to be preparing a "grand suite" for her to stay in. "The word here is that Fergie will be arriving sometime in January," one wealthy neighbor of Eugenie and Jack told the site.
One thing seems clear: the days of Andrew and Fergie being a united front are most likely over.
