Nearly seven years later, a metro father is still seeking justice for his son, who was shot and killed.Twenty-six-year-old Dylan Hill was found dead in December 2018 near 80th Terrace and James A. Reed Road in Kansas City, Missouri."It's a never-ending nightmare that never stops," said Randy Hill, Dylan's father.It's a pain no parent ever wants to feel."My grandkids need their dad. I need my son. I miss him. He was taken way too early in life, you know, and for what? I have no idea," Hill said.Dylan was shot and killed. No one has been arrested or charged."Called me at 2:30 in the morning and said, they killed Dylan, and I'm like, what do you mean they killed Dylan?" Hill said.Police found Dylan's car still running when they arrived at the scene in December 2018."I need somebody to be punished for what they did to my son," Hill said.Since then, Randy Hill has devoted himself to finding his son's killer, including putting up billboards across the metro to encourage people to come forward."There's information, just not enough," Hill said.Dylan had two young children and had recently started working for the Missouri Department of Transportation."Dylan was happy-go-lucky, loved life to its fullest. Would do anything for anyone. You know, he loved to ride his Harley, he loved to fish, he loved to do anything with his kids," Hill said.Randy Hill said his son's memory lives on through his children."Life's too short and precious," he said.He also shared a message for those who resort to gun violence."Pulling a gun, you're killing everybody in the family, you're killing yourself.
