Lincoln Southwest won the HAC girls golf championship on Friday at Riverside Golf Course, scoring 323 team points.
Southwest had three golfers place in the top five, including a first-place finish from Eden Larson, who scored a 70 including a blistering 33 back-nine.
The Silver Hawks' Naryn Kim was fourth, shooting an 80, while Maddi Wilson was fifth with an 82.
Columbus and Kearney placed second and third as a team, respectively, with 346 and 356 team points.
CROSS COUNTRY
Rich Ziegler Invite: Lincoln Pius X had about as good of day as a team could have in Syracuse. The Thunderbolt boys finished with 10 points to win the meet, meaning they had runners finish 1-2-3-4. Joseph Majerus won the invite narrowly over David Krier, 16:14.6 to 16:14.8. Meanwhile, the Thunderbolt girls won the meet with 11 points, with runners finishing 1-2-3-5. Pius X's Malia Woosley won the meet in 19:40.

SOFTBALL
Lincoln Northwest 9, Omaha Buena Vista 4: The Falcons' Ashlyn Siegel had three hits, including a double, while teammate Jalyn Techmeier went 2-for-3 with a home run to lead Northwest.
BOYS TENNIS
Capital City Quad: Lincoln East won the quad at Woods Tennis Center over Lincoln Southeast, Lincoln Pius X and Kearney. East's Hunter Nelson finished first in the No. 1 singles, winning all three of his matches. Southeast's Owen Brown retired during the final No. 1 singles match against Nelson. East's Simon Johnson and Samarth Sajeesh went 3-0 in No. 1 doubles.
VOLLEYBALL
Lincoln Northeast Invite: Class A No. 2 Lincoln North Star had a good outing on the first day of the Rockets' tournament, going 2-0 with a +35 differential in pool play. The Gators defeated Lincoln Standing Bear 25-7, 25-18, and Class B No. 8 Lincoln Pius X 23-25, 25-18, 25-20. The Thunderbolts went 1-1 on the first day, as did Lincoln Southeast. Class B No. 2 Waverly went 2-0.
