'Paradise' Season 1 Finale: When Does It Come Out?

[Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers from the Feb. 25, 2025, episode of Paradise Season 1 Episode 7: "The Day."]

The Paradise Season 1 finale comes out on March 4, 2025. More specifically, midnight EST on Hulu. In the episode, titled "The Man Who Kept the Secrets," "Xavier and Robinson (Krys Marshall) race to find President Bradford's (James Marsden) murderer before it's too late," per the official description.

As for getting answers, star Sterling K. Brown, who plays Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, told Today they're coming. "Is this going to be one of those shows where we don't get no answers? No," he said. "Are we actually going to find out who killed the president?" Another yes.

"Are we going to find out why these people are living in a mountain? Yep."

As for the show's most recent twists and turns, Xavier had Samantha "Sinatra" Redmond, played by Julianne Nicholson, at gunpoint in the Feb. 25 episode, "The Day." Sinatra calmly revealed she didn't kill the president, but she wants Xavier to find out who did. As for his friend, Agent Billy Pace (Jon Beavers)? Yes, she orchestrated his death.

The biggest bombshell, though, came when Sinatra pressed play on a tape recorder. Xavier heard the voice of his wife, Terri Collins (Enuka Okuma), who had long since been presumed dead.

Remember Terri missed the plane and had a heartbreaking conversation with Xavier as he and their children headed for Colorado. What's more, Sinatra revealed she has Xavier's daughter, Now, Sinatra wants to use Xavier's wife and daughter, Presley (Aliyah Mastin), as bargaining chips.

So, where does that leave Xavier as the Paradise Season 1 finale begins? He wants to justify taking Samantha "Sinatra" Redmond down. "Because that's all I really [want] as a character, is like, 'Can I shoot her now?'" Brown said.

Creator Dan Fogelman always pictured the show as a three-season drama. Brown compared its structure to the hit 2000s show, The Wire, where "each season sort of explores a different aspect of a community."

Each season of Paradise could explore "the same community, but from a slightly different aspect," Brown explained. "For us, we're looking at what happens to the world inside of Paradise? The people who prepared for it, who knew that it was coming, how do they manage the situation? How do people manage the situation that had no idea what was coming and are forced to live without any sort of infrastructure?"

What life is like inside the bunker's town of 25,000 people? "That is something that, if and when we get picked up for Season 2, we will be exploring," Brown said.

"I can tell you that much,' he added. "But I think the main exploration and the main question will be, is his wife really alive? That will be a propelling, sort of, drive to Season 2."
