Pravesh Gour, Senior Technical Analyst, Swastika Investmart, told PTI that the US decision to hike H1B visa fee to USD 100,000 could sharply increase costs for US clients and reduce demand for Indian tech talent, directly impacting the revenue visibility of large IT exporters such as TCS, Infosys and Wipro.Independent market expert Ambareesh Baliga told ET NOW Swadesh that any knee-jerk reaction in IT stocks will be a buying opportunity. "My view is that the large IT companies will use this as an opportunity to benefit in the longer run, as they will make adjustments. Many employees will return to India because of this H1B visa fee hike and hiring in India is still cheaper. So, companies will be spending much less in India than what they are spending in the US," he said.
