FALLBROOK - Last January, at a Monserate Chapter meeting of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution ("NSDAR"), Rose Rhoads from the Quilting Angels organization gave a presentation on the Quilts of Valor.

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to award service members and veterans who have been touched by war with a comforting and healing Quilt of Valor.

A Quilt of Valor unequivocally says, "thank you for your service, sacrifice and valor in serving our country." Each quilt is unique, formed by loving hands, and consists of three layers.
