Navratri Ghatasthapana Puja Vidhi: Ghatasthapana, also called Kalash Sthapana, marks the commencement of the Hindu festival, Navratri, or Shardiya Navratri. This year Navratri will be celebrated from September 22 to October 2. It takes place on the first day of the festival. A pot, made of either clay or brass, representing the womb of goddess Durga, is used to invoke her.
