BEAUMONT -- The SETX Strong Families Coalition invites families across Southeast Texas to its 2nd Annual Family Summit.

The event is happening Saturday, August 23rd from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church on Dowlen Road.

This free community event is designed to support and strengthen families by offering access to local resources, meaningful sessions, and a welcoming space for all ages.

Rachel Valdes talked about the annual event which will have a free brisket lunch, free childcare, breakout sessions for parents/guardians, youth, and school-age children, and door prizes!

Pre-registration is encouraged but not required.
