Trib utes have been pouring in for a "beautiful" 21-year-old woman who died suddenly after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Isabella Clark, from Southport, tragically passed away on August 21, leaving her family and friends heartbroken. She was a former student of Greenbank High School in Southport before she pursued her studies at Liverpool Theatre School and later at Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts in Swindon.
Her parents, Aidan and Diane, are now spearheading a campaign to raise awareness and reduce the incidence of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). Paying tribute to their former student, Greenbank High School said: "We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our much-loved former student, Isabella Clark.
"Isabella will be remembered at Greenbank High School for her warmth, kindness and the positive impact she had on those around her. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Isabella's family and friends at this very difficult time."
Following her death, Isabella's parents have launched a fundraiser for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), a UK charity which attempts to reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors, the ECHO reports.
On the Just Giving page, Isabella's parents wrote: "Our beautiful Isabella sadly passed away on 21st August having suffered an unexpected cardiac arrest. Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions."
A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help "allow the memory of Isabella to live on forever." Organised by Georgia Wood, it said: "Isabella was a beloved daughter and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met.
"She was sunshine in human form, as many have said. Her unexpected passing has left her family and friends devastated.
"If you would like to contribute, all donations will allow the memory of Isabella to live on forever. Thank you for your kindness and support."
Details of Isabella's funeral were shared on social media, with the consent of her family. Posting on social media, funeral directors at Southport-based Hope Funeral Care wrote: "Isabella Mary Clark. Sunrise 18th December 2003. Sunset 21st August 2025.
"Passed away suddenly with her family by her side, aged 21 years. Devoted daughter to Diane & Aidan. Isabella will be incredibly missed by all who had the honour of knowing her.
"A celebration of Isabella's life will take place at West Lancashire Crematorium on Tuesday 14th October 2025 at 1:00pm. Please wear your favourite clothing to reflect the beautiful person Isabella was. Family flowers only please by request but if desired, donations are being gratefully received for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
