Big Brother's Rylie Jeffries confronted over controversial comments to Katherine

BIG Brother's Rylie was confronted over comments he made to his love interest Katherine while in the house, admitting he could not believe everyone had heard what he said.

Rylie Jeffries, 27, and Katherine Woodman, 23, had been thrilling fans with their on-screen romance for weeks before viewers began slamming Rylie for his "creepy" behavior ahead of his axe from the show.

Following his exit from the house on Thursday night when he was evicted, Rylie addressed the controversial marriage comments he made to Katherine.

In his exit interview with Julie Suzanne Chen Moonve, Rylie got quizzed about his connection with Katherine.

"What is it about you that drew you to her?" Julie asked.

"Her smile. The way she actually cares. Where her heart is. She's absolutely real and I love that about her," Rylie gushed.

Rylie went on to say how she makes him feel like the "only man in this whole entire world".

"You fell hard and fast for her, and you even told her you plan on marrying her," Julie said.

Rylie replied, "Yeah, I do. I did say that. I can't believe y'all heard that."

He was seemingly stunned that viewers had heard his comments despite being aware he has camera on him 24/7 and has a microphone attached to his clothing.

The comments referred to a live stream from last week where Rylie said to Katherine, "I'm being with you outside of this, whether you like it or not."

When Katherine replied that it was "manifestation," Rylie said it was not, but instead said it was a "promise."

After the clip of Rylie vowing to marry Katherine did the rounds on social media, fans said it was a "creepy" moment with many even begging for him to be removed.

Sharing the video on TikTok, the original poster said in the caption, "Riley needs to be kicked out... Creeeeeeeeepy."

Commenting on the video, one person said, "He does nothing but repeat himself all day. Does he know anything about her or just that he loves her."

A third said that it was "red flag behavior," adding, "the producers should be stepping in at this point because this is not okay..."

This comes after some fans were unable to tune into Rylie's live eviction due to a pre-season football game airing on Paramount instead.

Viewers were fuming when they tuned in to watch the eviction but were instead met with a football game.

Fans were left fuming on X, with one writing, "Football?? Paramount will actually be paying for their crimes for promoting that I could watch live... #BB27."

A second wrote, "CBS gives us PRESEASON football instead of Eviction Night on Big Brother.

"Preseason...that no one cares about. Oh, I can watch it at 1:30AM? Great! Who needs sleep?! F**king stupid. #bb27 #cbs."
